Kanto freestyle breakfast, ang kantong literal. Ang pagkaing lakas maka mayaman sa picture.
It all started when a foodie friend of mine invited me to have lunch with her one time.
She is fond of posting pics of her daily kain, mapa resto o hindi its always posted on instagram. One time,she posted a pic of tuyo with kesong puti as her "BREKKY" (a term used by conios for breakfast), and being a self confessed foodie I put a like on the pic and left a comment that her breakfast looks masarap and thats how my kanto experience started.
She lives within the area in Mandaluyong and tricycles are everywhere so isang para lang kay manong at nasa kanto kana. Habang nasa daan kame papuntang kanto,my friend kept reminding me na wag maging maarte daw pag dating namen sa place (hahaha, grabe naman). Bakit naman kaya? eh looking at the picture mukang sosyalin naman ang mga food.The more I learned, the more I got curious & interested about it.
Then I saw the place, at nasabi ko sa sarili ko, HAHA NA-LITERAL AKO!!! Astig. Super kanto style.
Yung tipong pabili nga po store that you can see everywhere.Though wala akong picture ng literal na look ng kanto nakuha naman namen magselfie ng frend ko.Hindi siya ung frend ko na naginvite saken pero isa cia sa mga na recruit ko to visit the place.Yan na yun. Yan na ang whole kanto look! 4 tables infront, isang pantakip sinag ng araw at voila instant kainan na cia!!!
I was so excited to try the food na halos lahat ata gusto ko orderin.

What makes me happy here is how they do the food presentation. Im a certified addict instagrammer so talagang na appreciate ko ang plating. (Pume-plating?!!!)haha.
I guess I've hunted down a resto na pwede kong balik balikan anytime. Anyone who have tasted kanto's favorites can truly attest that it truly deserves a high score rating.
No negative comment when it comes to food.It is surely a must try,
BUT when you’re the type of person na pawisin at mainitin like me, mejo wrong ang place cause as I've mentioned it's a typical carinderia atmosphere (ituro mo, lulutuin ko style).
They accept deliveries too pero for me the whole point of trying kanto resto is eating a gourmet food in a kanto way. funny but true huh? so if I were you, try it once and if you don’t feel like going back dahil sa ambience then just have your food delivered. GOOD DEAL?
Kung ang iba sinasabi nila na-KANTOFIED daw sila, ako naman hindi
"CORNERED" naman ako. Hahaha maipilit lang!

Regular part of our gala! Definitely a great place to have breakfast! Hirap lang puntahan ng place kapag may dalang car cause the main road is under repair but the food is totally awesome plus super affordable pa!
